I searched the entire map, all fishing shacks, bodies, buildings, the campsite, the abandoned lookout - no hatchet. Also no rifle. Since I started the game with no water, just come cold coffee, it was a struggle just to be able to search every location. That seems a little bit harsh for a Voyager start.For example, the second one I have to find is in a tree stump in Coastal Highway. The map indicates where it is, but I don't need a key. I wonder if it would be there if I never found the note, and I could just find it randomly if I happened to walk past the tree stump. ... The Rockfall cannot be passed through.Faithful Cartographer is an achievement in The Long Dark. If you own the Tales from the Far Territory, any locations in regions within the Far Territory DO NOT count towards the achievement. NOTE: In the current version, an in-game menu with the Surveyed Locations can be checked. This is the easiest way to keep track and check whether you have mapped something correctly or not.
